Diversified group Oriental Holdings Bhd has proposed to form a joint-venture company via its 60%-owned subsidiary Teck See Plastic Sdn Bhd (TSP) with Japanese incorporated Kasai Kogyo Co Ltd.
In a statement, Oriental said both TSP and Kasai would jointly invest and participate on a 75:25 basis in the joint-venture company, Kasai Teck See (M) Sdn Bhd (KTSM).
KTSM would be involved in the business of designing, research and development, manufacturing, sale of plastic and automotive interior parts.
“The joint venture with Kasai will strengthen the group’s capability in terms of design, research and development, manufacturing, sale of plastic and automotive interior parts as well as to streamline the operations of TSP,” Oriental said.
