70 million mTouche shares change hands in off-market deal at 37 sen

Mobile content provider mTouche Technology Bhd saw 70 million shares traded at 37 sen yesterday in an off-market transaction.

Of that, 59.6 million, or 25.72% stake, was disposed of by Eugene Goh, and 10.4 million, or 4.5% stake, was sold by Tan Wee Meng.

According to stock market data, the transaction price was 14 sen, or 27.4%, below the Friday closing price of 51 sen. mTouche ended closed yesterday at 52 sen, with 5.44 million shares being traded.

On April 18, the company said it had received notifications from directors Goh and Tan about their intentions to deal in the securities of the company during the closed-period, pending the announcement by the company of its results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2012. Goh no longer owns any share in Mtouche, while Tan still has a 0.31% direct stake in the company.
